Since someone is waiting on it, the busa will be done and ready to ship for the big event in December!
You won't have to wait until spring

Hey Seth, to be quite honest... and you are not going to like this... Traci got the bike that will NOT BET TOPPED.
I'm sure that it can/will be beat up the hill, I'm sure that there will be some impressive builds (Hopefully mine can be included into that catogory), but to be brutally honest, nothing will top it. I've poured over Curtis' builds, rode them, poured over SS's builds and have first hand knowledge of Bud's stuff. I've seen and through a leg over conversions from just about everywhere. I have yet to see a piece of art that would compare with that build. It's just that... a piece of art. I'm sure that people will disagree with every word that I've wrote, but in my opinion, i've never seen a better build. I'm sure that some can even find somethings that aren't perfect, or that they would do different. It's one of a kind and something the original builder should be very proud of. I really can't get over the fact that Ron let it go. I had the honor of having that bike in my garage for 3-4 days. I went over that build with a magnifying glass. It's simply B*E*A*U*T*I*F*U*L.
Now here is the rest.... I've learned soooo much from Curtis and Bud that I would be remissed to not give them what they deserve. Curtis is one of the finest guys I've met and his builds are extraordinary, not sure if there is a better builder out there with a DS frame. His eye on detail is like none other. He has given and keeps giving to those of us who have ventured into this arena.
Now to Bud. I consider Bud one of my good friends. Lord knows that I've bothered him more than you could ever imagine. He's given of himself... endlessly I might add and if it weren't for him, I would not have even started this process. He's held nothing back from me and has been the most standup guy that I've ever had the pleasure to deal with. The way he lives his life is just the way he treats his friends... honest and whole-hearted.
Neither has played games, held build secrets close to their hip, or even so much as blinked an eye while I was asking questions. Kind of reminds me of the Good Ole DS DAYS. Nice to be a part of it. I have pledged to several people to do the same when it comes time for their builds. This is what this is all about....
Curtis and especially Bud. You guys.... well, Thank you. From the bottom of my heart.
Traci, enjoy your new toy. It's one of a kind.
NUT... you are the KING!!!!!
Now if I can just get the Ninja to convert!!!! You would all be in trouble.
Maybe we can get a conversion section in the forum......
Peace!

Thank you so much and I agree. That was a major selling point. That machine looks very sweet. It is one of the best put together conversions. I know I will get beat. Especially until I get comfortable with the RPM's but the good thing is I don't have to have good starts I can have a crappy start and still win a race. One day I will get that down too.
But the best thing about it is I can ride and dune it all day with out a problem. Even with my kids.
I understand why Ron is getting rid of his conversions for now and am sure one day he will have another. He really is a great guy and I can truly say he is a good friend of mine and I care for him and his wife a lot. Thanks Ron.
And Mike again thanks for everything you have done for us Seth's bike is very nice right now but those Conversions ruined him that is for sure. If we could afford to keep our bikes now and the Conversions we probably would but no need to cause they would more than likely just sit. You are a really good guy too and I am sure your conversion will be very nice with your eye for detail also.
Thanks for the kudo's on my new bike and until Seth gets his I am sure he will have plenty of seat time on mine ant that is ok as long as he don't wreck it.
Your all good guys in my book the ones I have met and the ones I have yet to meet. Haven't had issues yet, and hope I never do.
Thanks to all the bomb guys.
