Default Hitting the sand

Crash, Big D, and I will be kicking it up in Winchester this weekend. Looking forward to some of that really great coastal weather I have been missing Anyone else gonna be over there? I know most will be in Florence the following weekend so I will raise a crown to us all having great and safe trips!!!!

I am looking forward to this run. I have a new needle that I think will fix my running problems. I also have some new front tires and rims (thanks Meaner), a new cool looking battery cover, and a killer new front bumper. Also trying out some 7 paddles vs my 9s. Should be a good weekend

Default Hitting the sand

Well we are back. It went very well. My bike ran hard. With me riding, I was able to hit 63 on the flats at Winchester, and she was pulling a wheelie in 3rd up Banshee on my +5 swinger. That new needle made a huge difference... I have a couple little changes I will be making prior to my next trip over that should help with the over all quickness factor. The 7 paddles just were not enough, and just spun like mad. So Pipelayer I will be bringing those back to you later this week. thanks for letting me try them out though. My 9s are still a bit much, so I will be on the look out for a set of 8s before to long, but got to get some money back in the fold first. The weather was perfect, and we had a great time....Wish we could have arranged this trip with everyone else going next weekend. but that is the way it goes I guess. Hope you all have a good weekend yourselves.....

Oh and Big D's bike was running very strong also. It very literally smoked us all Just after receiving all wonderful comments about how well I got that baby running and all the good I have done for it....... The garsh darn thing blew the base gasket....the BASE GASKET... How the heck do you screw that up...... Oh well, Tear it back down and see if there is a reason that it happened or if I just did something stupid...... The worst part about it, it happened in the first 10 mins of riding!!!
