Another pc545 for the garbage!!!
These are the most unreliable batterys i have ever owned or seen in my entire life. Sure they work INSANELY good when they work...but all of a suddon they just crap out and have some sort of internal short...I am going to get warrenty on it and they will give me another new one...i sure wont use it....last night i was out riding and it seemed fine but i bet if i shut the quad off and tried a restart it would of left me stranded in the DARK in the middle of the bush...no thanks. The stock battery has thousands and thousands of hours on it while BOTH of these have like maybe 200 hours. Lots of you guys seem to run these batterys forever without problems...good luck i guess.

Seems like some of the newer ones do have a shorting problem that the older ones didn't develop. I've run them for three or four years with no issues and then when I picked one up a year and a half ago it developed the internal short, same issue with the replacement, third one is still going strong. Fingers are crossed...

Another pc545 for the garbage!!!
I have had a PC545 on my bike for three years, with zero problems. I always keep it on the Battery Tender in my garage. When I go to Glamis (10 hour drive), I like to have a spare "just in case" backup battery charged up and ready to go. My original Yuasa (which I had been using as my spare) finally petered out. I was thinking about picking up another PC545 for my spare. These problems, plus the big price increase, may have me looking at something else instead.

I dont think i can trust this battery enough anymore to run one.....i ride by myself allot specially at night and i cant afford to have a battery crap out on me. I will be getting another stock battery for the ds and using the pc545 as a spare. Its kind of a shame since it has such nice power output...but if they cant make them strong enough they are useless.
