Winch for Renegade 500???
hows that winch doing? The dealer told me not to get that one. They said it barely picked up a snow blade on one and said it wouldn't help me if i did get stuck! How's that for honesty from a dealer lol. Have wanted a winch for mine too, but didn't want to have to do any major mods to get one mounted.

Winch for Renegade 500???
For the Renegade you need a Warn #71881 winch mount from an Outlander, not every Outlander Winch mount will work but this one bolts right up.
I bought a Warn XT15 winch ( hope its strong enough )
UPDATE: THE WINCH IS STONG ENOUGH!
There are some mods that you have to do to make this work.
The Fairlead needs to be mounted to the front bumper
You also need to make a bracket for the front-plastic support to the bumper. (The Factory bracket needs to be removed to make room for the winch)
I have the winch mounted I still need to make a front-plastic support
I used the XT15 Winch and it pulls fine. I wanted the lighter weight.
You can use a xt25 or xt30 with the Warn #71881 mount.
Good luck trying to get the factory bracket without the winch.
