Default Traxter hard to find

I have been looking via the internet for several days now, for a used traxter. For my purpose, I liked the step thru design and that the radiator is in the back. What's with that? Are these machines so good that nobody wants to part with them? Or is it that there is so few around? What years were they made? Any and all info greatly appreciated. Regards, Foster

I think they were made up through 02-03? I remember looking at getting one back then however I was not famililar with the mcahines enough. After they stopped making them for the BRP name they continued making them for John Deere, so you should be able to find a newer one even if it is at the local John Deere dealer.

I know where one is that they will probly sell, in Ivydale in Clay, West Virginia, there is a gas station/tire shop/ car dealership, and the have had one setting in their tire garage for around a year with brand new tires on it, and they would probly sell it. I didn't think they were very good from what I've heard, and they CERTAINLY don't look good.

I think it is a little of both. I know I don't want to turn loose of mine. It does too much work around here.

Really?? And what did you hear?

i heard there great for work, and if you use it on the farm type ride it seems designed perfect. never reviewed good for sports type riding, compared to other 4x4's not that it didn't do good just they always like the others better.

They made that ATV from 1999-2005 Linky

From these owner reviews they seem to have no issues. Owner reviews They also called them a "Quest" and made a 650cc model designed for two up riding.
