Well I would trust Eric on that one, so that comes back to the carb. Did the Dyno that you were using have a sniffer on it so that you could tell us what the A/F ration was?

Ok guys, I just posted my dyno results in my pics. The first results are from June 2006 when I had the 730 kit in and no head work. The test was done at Rexburg Motorsports in St. Anthoneys. I believe the attitude is about 4500 feet. I used a bald set of knobbies for the dyno. I got the best results with a #100 power jet installed.

The 2nd set of results are from September 2007 after I had the porting done and bigger valves installed. Everything else was the same (tires and dyno). Had the best results with the #100 power jet installed again. As you can see the power was down though to a peak of 46 compared to 52 before the head work.

I just posted the pics - may take a minute to show up.

Thanks for all you help guys !!!

Runs a 730 kit from OMW with web109's and a 48mm lectron. It has some serious torque!

I just sent the mods another email. I re-posted them this morning and nothing has shown up yet.

Ds650powe: The seat of the pants differance was worse then before the head porting. I did change a rear sprocket before trying the bike with the head porting. I went from a 42 on the rear to a 41 for clearance issues. When I am ridding in St. A's I usually launch in 2nd gear, the bike would do it no problem before the head porting but fell on its face after.
