I sent one to you, spoke to Dean, they got buried with DS 450 orders for both the race team, as well as the general public, and riders they support.

More details are in your PM.

Just for simplicity for everyone, if you want to order their stuff, I suggest you go direct, ask them what the ETA of what you are ordering is and that way you can decide if you want to wait or go elsewhere.

Other people that I have talked to have done this and they are usually quite close to the original ETA.

Well I hope that works out better for you.

So after a phone conversation, here's what you should know, the dealers are instructed to apprise the customer of this as well.

Epic has been buried with orders for the DS 450, therefore, other models may be a week or 2 longer.

They will state that the approximate wait time is 4-6 weeks, depending on the model.

If you order a set, especially custom sets, the work will not begin, nor order ship until payment is received by Epic from the retailer. Too much work has been done in the past where someone orders somthing only to cancel after completion and no cash to repay the cost of building them. So if you call Epic 2 weeks after you order through a retailer and they have not received payment, contact the retailer and ask what their delay is.

Again, I suggest that you contact and purchase direct, that way you can clairfy any questions.

Well I just cancelled my order with Epic and ordered my new ones from LONESTAR. They were $225 cheaper than EPIC and they will come powder coated candy red for no additional charge, and they assured me to have them done in 1 week. We'll see. Since I had those $225 to spare, I went ahead and purchased LONESTAR 1 1/8" +2 steering stem and clamp. Thanx again for the help guys.

Keith,

Its good to see your post. Things are good here in SLC.

drbalazo,

I think thats a good decision. Fool me once .... you know the rest.

TPR,

I've known those guys a really long time. And you know one thing, response number 2 (I'm selling so much I cant keep up) does get overused in this industry. Im holding back on saying anything else.
