selling advice for my ds650

hey guys,
ok so ive decided i want to sell my ds650 and buy the new ds450 but im not sure how much i cant get for my bike and if theres anything i can do to make i look better ot anything so ta i can try sell it for more and so that it will look like its in better condition when someone comes to look at it. so far i know i should wash t, duh, lol and maybe polish the wheels and shine all the steel parts and exhaust, but does anybody know what else to do to make it look better and newer. thanx. iv got a few scratches on the back plastics aswell

I would take off any aftermarket or billet parts, and try to sell them separately, making the bike look as stock and unmolested as possible. I don't think most buyers appreciate or are going to give you anything close to what aftermarket stuff is worth. I don't know what you're hoping to get for your bike, but if you look on ebay or on any of the Glamis web sites, there seems to be just a general glut of used quads for sale (maybe because of the economy?), which depresses prices overall, especially for a niche bike like the DS 650. As far as cleaning, I like the Gunk degreaser with the orange cap to get the motor clean, and good old Lemon pledge for a quick shine on the plastics.
