New 800 Thump

Not a CanAm, but its good to know a big 4 Jap bike company is still keeping big thumps in their sites. Suzuki has really been making strides in the big 4, comparitively anyway. And know they hold the record for thump size.
Maybe CanAm will wake up soon.

Wow, just found out the 800cc ran from 1990 to 1997. It was dang near the same engine as DS650, or closer to BMW F650 with the same dual mikuni vacuum carbs.
Wow, an OEM 800cc thump. Wish I'd known about that one then. I am surprised it did not make it into an ATV, but it was a few years too early in the product life cycle. It is probably the grandfather of the DS650.
Its bore is 105 and its is stroked for the difference. Those numbers sound familiar, ha-ha. Some engine building research.
