Yo Big C

If i am not mistaken and unless they changed it, if you are put out of the Army at a 30 percent or more, they medically retire you. This means that you should retain your ID card as well. Like i said, if they havent changed things.

OOHRAH for 1st Tank Bn there highboy! Spent 93-96 running the TOW armory for those bunch of warriors. Last ten years of my career were spent right here in this desert paradise and I decided too call it home after I retired Oct 2003. Still working Electro-Optics up at EEAP/ESD if you rememeber that place. Always a pleasure explaining to the new civilian employees about the whole EX thing. Doesn't take them long to catch on considering that about 80% of the work force there are FORMER or Retired Marines, and other service also.

Anyway, welome aboard highboy, good to have so many Veterans enjoying life after the service off road.

I was at fort knox 87, 88 Delta 210 (Slave brigade). and that would be Right out of basic tranning. I went to Swinefurt Germany in the 89 to 90 " Love Frankfurt to Death" There REDlight district rocks:-). I got Disabled December the 12th,1990. But Good looking out my fellow comrades. Please forgive my incompetent ignorence. I still love the Military, wish I still was apart of the worlds best. After I got disabled the Walter Reed Doctors told me that Because I would never be able to run again I could not adapt to Military standereds, So when the gave me My paper retirement papers they told me That I am Bar to reinlist, But I do have a Honorable Discharge under medical. They only gave me 35%, perminent and confind me to a cane. I threw down the cane, and brought me a quad, and know I fell tht my new adventure has just begun. Hope to hook up with you hero's someday Love the story's of a true soldier.
