What throttle works best for the Lectron?

What throttle works best for the Lectron?
Recently picked up a pair of Lectron 48's and I do NOT want to run twist throttle on them. Hooked one up to a stock throttle and at it's loosest setting it still held the slide 1/3 open.
I've got two cables from twist throttles and one of the 90 degree cables from OMW. Is the Moose the only throttle that is going to work with these carbs or are you guys running something different? I'm really curious to know what setups are working out. Not really wanting to spend $140 on just a thumb throttle.
