Question mudlite XL or mudlite XTR?

My 2009 can am outlander 650 needs new tires and i want either the mudlite xl or the mudlite xtr and will be riding in some deep mud and general trail riding. Any one own any of these tires please give the feed back on how you like them and if you would recomend. Also i would like to know how long the belt should last before replacing. it has 1,658 miles and how much longer do you think it has.

I'd go with the Maxxis Zillas myself. I've run the XTR's & absolutely HATED them, harsh ride, out of round and HEAVY as can be. The Mudlites would be lighter but why not go with the lightest mud tire so you don't loose your get up & go?

Have XTRs and love them so far. Rocks, mud, water, snow. Been good so far.

I have a 07 650 Outlander, i checked the belt at 2700 miles it looked the same as my Wifes 650 with 600 miles on it.

The issue with the XTR's is the ungodly stiff sidewall. I guess you could air them way down but then you still have a heavy, power robbing tire. I ran them on a 700 King Quad and they slowed me down to the speed of a 500 Vinson, unacceptable in my book.

Not finding the same issue. Got up to speed normally. I had stock Carlisle 489s before the XTRs. Not sure what the weight difference is.
