Default Tire Recommendations, and Gearing

I have a 2001 DS650 with full step up LTE dual exhaust, BIG Gun Rev Box and piggy back K&N.

I do a lot of dirt drag racing with my friends. I typically launch the bike in 2nd gear and I cannot get good traction. I race a lot of Honda 450R's and they kill out of the hole. Once I get moving and hook up I blow there plastics off. I'm running the stock Kenda Dominators and looking to maybe replace with a Razr. Does anyone have good luck with any other tire?

I've been thinking about possibly gearing my DS for simple fact that I can never get traction. Is there a good combination for my dirt racing?

I would get 22inch rears, I think the razors are pretty good. If I remember right mine wore down fairly quickly....

theres more tires than just razrs and holeshots. the smaller the tire means the slower the atv.

I stuck holeshots on my 2001 DS and it was a night and day difference in traction on grass it was darn right dangerous wouldnt even spin just wheelie..
