Question tm45?

im real close to getting a tm45 for my ds650 and was wondering what you guys think about this mod? is it worth the 650$?? also would you go with keeping the stock snorkel with a k&n or would you go with the k&n mounted directly to the carb?? any suggestions would be appreciated... thanks

It's a good one but you have to open up the intake to match or your wasteing the bigger size. K&N direct mount is good for hp over the snorkel. Just got to have every thing tune correct.

Yeah I'm planning on getting it thru Ron wood and it will include the intake manifold. I want more power and better bottom end. I currently run a pro circuit t4 slip on k&n filter outerwears lid big gun cdi 15 tooth front sprocket and my stock carb is jetted properly. I do like the power its putting out but more is always better I'm looking to add the tm45. I do have a shop that will dyno tune the bike to perfection... would you do it???

My tm45 is still working perfect after over 9 years and a thousand hours, never looked backed and no regrets, its a great carb built to last and performs awesome, the accel pumper is the shiznit for hopping ruts roots and logs.

Im thinking of putting on a slip-on pipe(stuck between HMF comp. w/ stage 3 insert or Yoshi) and probably stage3 dyno jets (again dont know enough between stage 1 or 3 jets) and a uni air filter. Im want a tm48 carb (with 48 intake) but im wondering if that will be to much or will the tm45 be better for my future setup. also I will still be using the sealed air box and snorkles because i do every type of riding from the track, to mud/ trail etc.
