I recently purchased a 2007 Bombardier Outlander Max. I was going to do some of the maintenance so I need to get the seats off. I pulled the lever thats on both sides of the rear seat and tried to raise the rear seat by pulling up and backward so I could release the latch in the middle of the of the backrest but I can't get the rear seat to move backward. Any ideas or detailed schematic so I can figure out how to get the rear seat off. The front seat does not appear to be a problem but you need to remove the rear seat first.

I was hoping this same problem had happened to someone else and they figured out how to work around the problem. It appears its stuck and I don't know how to release it.

Any help would be appreciated.

pull up on lever on 2up seat - lift 2up seat straight up.

then...

to get off the drivers seat...

pull up lever................ and lift seat up.
