We just need to get used to it. When I bought my 09 F150, wasn't sure if I liked the square front end but now I love it. IMO, the new design looks very aggressive and I like it.

I don't think it's a matter of getting used to it- I just feel it looks too much like a brute force with polaris racks- the grill even reminds me of a grizz.

I always loved how can-am's had their own look- you could tell an outlander from a brute force 500' away easily- not now. I loved the narrow steep front of the older design- the new design is big, bulky, flat and looks like every other 4x4 atv- it's not a genuine design in my opinion- especially coming from a company that prides themselves on being so "out of the box" and cutting edge.
I'm pretty sure you'll see a different front end on the outty before long.

I never really liked the looks of the old Outlander. It was too angular and sharp edged. The new Outlander is better in my opinion, and looks like its half way between a Renegade and a Commander, just as it should.

But who cares about looks. The new Renegade 1000 only gained 11 hp over the Renegade 800, but it weighs 73 lbs more. I'm not sure its going to be all that much better overall. Same goes for the Outlander 1000, it gained 11 hp over the Outlander 800, but weighs 88 lbs more. Too bad Can Am couldn't have put them both on a diet.

My first impression was Brute Force.

I don't think CanAm has ever been know for their good looks.
