Default Does a Can Am DS 250 have power?

I saw a 2006 Can Am DS 250 on craigslist and am pretty interested but my only worry is if it has enough power and speed. I read somewhere that it only goes like 45, is this true? It also looks a little small compared to other 250's. It is also listed at $2000 and i was wondering if this is listed too high. Any feedback is much appreciated, thanks.

I'm considering buying a DS250 for my son, only because I found this link: http://forums.atvconnection.com/can-...valuation.html

It looks like if you put a clutch kit in it, it really wakes the bike up.

does it have enough power....?
compared to what?
you didn't list and details about yourself, your riding or a comparison....

so yeah- it has enough power if you're coming off a 110cc, but it has no power if you're used to a 450r.
All 250 atv's are small.

I did a pipe, air filter, jet kit, and lighten the rollers on my wifes DS 250. I helped some, but still is way under powered. I think my grandsons Honda 90 might keep up with it. It'll only climb the smallest hills at the dunes and grandson can climb bigger ones.
