If I'm not mistaken you can get the 2-up passenger seat and it fits the MXR. Just going by the cost of a base Outlander Max and adding all the goodies on that my XT-P has packaged with it, I can tell you it would cost around $2000 more if you were to add on the extras yourself. Probably the same is true of the XMR. Hope this helps a bit.

you mean an XMR?
you want to turn a 650 xt 1-up into a 650 max XMR 2-up???
it's not practicle. the 2-up has a longer frame.
the 2013 650 max xt with dps is $11k.

I was thinking of going with a 650 MAX with DPS... I wouldn't need the 30" silverbacks, Bighorns are a better choice for the ridding i do. I am just looking to see if anyone has built a 650 with the Rad relocate the ISS and the onboard compressor.
Basically the 2012 800 Xmr but in the 650 platform. Also the Xmr doesn't come with the backseat and that's an extra $800... Thats insane after it already cost $13,000 +

Gas mileage so far has been anything from 18 mpg for slow technical stuff, to 25 mpg on mostly open trails including high speed runs up near 60. Engine still had more left but I was running out of smooth dirt.
Again, if you were to take an Outlander Max 650 and add on all these items I'm willing to bet it would be another $2000 or more over the price of the XT-P.

If it has all the equipment of the XT-P with the bigger tires, lift?, and the radiator on the rack it seems like a decent deal. Guys spend thousands on top of what they already spent for the quad to get a machine like the XMR. The only things I can think of that you don't get is the seat for a passenger, and the GPS unit if you went with the 800 over the XT-P. You also get front air adjustable suspension in addition to rear.

I'd look around for a 2012. I think they had the 800 which is plenty powerful. I've seen more than a few XMRs doing wheelies. The 2012 also has a brace built into the spar frame where the A-arms could cause the spar frame to bend if hit hard enough.
