i just got off the phone with RWR and those guys are GREAT! i discussed w/ him the problems with the cutting in and out and like in older threads on this site, he is sure it is the lack of the accelerator pump for the type of riding that i do. he is sending the parts out right away. Those guys are awesome. the only thing i forgot to mention was the smoke coming out of the air filter after turning it off yesterday, maybe you guys can help me with the rest? do you guys agree with his thoughts? any help i can i get i would appreciate.

thanks

Elliott is awesome and always there with words of wisdom. I've always sworn by the accellerator pump but others are satisfied with their TM's without them. When I'm at the bottom of a dune and need to get to the top I don't want any stinkin' stumble in the accelleration.
Smoke may be rings wearing but do your oil change and some TLC and we'll go from there.

preformed a full oil change, first drained the oil, then put 3 quarts of cheap oil and ran it for 2-3 minutes and drained again. changed oil filter and then put Amsoil 10w40 sytnthetic (wet clutch compatible) at $14 a quart :/

it seemed to run a bit smoother w/ no smoke at all once i turn it off. however, it is still skipping like crazy while accelerating. when accelerating really, i mean REALLY slow, i can get it to higher rpms without any skipping. hopefully the parts that RWR is sending me will take care of that.
