Hello all, I'm new here. I have a ds650 Baja. I was told it is an 01 by the guy I bought it from but I'm not sure. When I got it, it was not running. I have replaced several parts and come to the conclusion that I need a cdi box. Is it ok to get a cdi box from a different year as long as it's for the baja model? All the pictures I have seen of an 01 cdi box has a pigtail coming out of it. Mine does not,it just has a plug port. This is what is leading me to think it's not an 01. Any help would be great.
