I was at the local Bombardier dealership talking to a dealer about financing a ds and he showed me a picture of a black ds650 with yellow grafix,and man it looked sweet.He said that it may be a late 2002 to early 2003 entry.The picture he showed me looked like it was online so if I find it I'll post it here.

They are out now. I saw one at St. Louis Power Sports about 1 1/2 months ago. You are right, they are sweet looking. If I was in the quad buying mode I would have bought it.

 

I bought a black one about a month ago...I like it better than the yellow. I haven't seen one yet like it where I ride.

 

They have them here in Sacramento $7200.00 out the door and they do look sweet.Just there picking up some some new plastic I ordered(maybe should have got the black plastic)but I did order the black factory seat cover $78.00 looks like it would hide the dirt better.

The Black DS650 is a limited Edition starting in 2001. My Assumption is this means they will make a certain number of them per model year. I have yet to see any 'good' pictures of a Black DS650 that do the machine any justice, so I took some of mine which I feel give a much better feel for it's looks. If you call around, you should be able to find a Black one in a shop somewhere. There is still one at the shop I bought mine at in California.
