I just traded my 2002 KTM 250 SX Dirtbike for a DS650. Love the beefy tone on this massive 4 stroke. Here's a few pics of her. It's a Bombardier, am I ok to post here?

Gave the old girl a bath. Warmed it up to operating temp and tested the Rev Limiter.

Ah, much better. Removed the paint from the Nerf Bars and installed the 6 pack rack. Re-feeding the web back onto the nerf bars was a bitch.

Next is to relocate the 2 LED headlights, then source a new headlight.

Much better. Relocated the LED's to where the stock lowers go. Now I can see the Tach and warning lights.

 

Installed my Acerbis handguards. Next is the new petcock and steering stabilizer when they arrive.

 

I saw on one of your posts there was a video of it running, just watched it. Sounds real good. Love how those Rotax v-twin engines sound just idling.

 

Much thanks. I'm itching to get her out. Was going to plan a desert trip on Presidents weekend but it's going to rain, so that's out. Gives me time to dial it in though. I may open the carb and see if the pilot is too large as it seems a bit hard to start. I got new plugs I want to try first. Do you have an engine cutout diagram of these rotax engines? Can't seem to find any on Google.

 

Got my headlight in today. Bottom bracket is no longer available, made my own with a galvanized steel 4x4 wood post mount. Got to McGyver parts these days. She finally has her center eye.
