I am about to get the Team-Pami 703 kit with the 12.2:1 piston. What would i gain by going to a 15.5:1 piston and running alchohol? Also who could convert my TM 45 carb to an alchohol carb.??[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

 

I too would like to know the HP gains,and who I could get to modify the TM45?

 

I talked to a guy at FTZ this morning about modifying the TM45 and he said that he had a TM45 there that had been setup for the DS but it hadn't been tested yet he thought that it should work just fine but he couldn't give me any promises. I asked him when he could have some prices or HP gains and he said that his boss was out of town right now and would be back Monday and that maybe he could give me some info.

Keep in mind Jeff, for you to take full advantage of running alchohol, we would have to pump up your compression even more. You would get gains with the motor as is, but the biggest advantage to alchohol is that it allows you to build the motor more radicly while controling detonation and keeping everything cool.

By the way, I found out about that EX at Pismo, it was an alchohol motor.
