<< Saw an ad today for a brand new DS650 selling for $5099. Has any one seen prices like this? If I wasn't buying a new house right now, I'd buy 2 of them. MSRP as you all know is $7299, dealer sale price is $6099 with a $1000 rebate. WOW!!!! >>
What first attracted me to the DS is a place that is selling new DS650's in SoCal for $4999. I called, and these are 2000 models, so the one you saw for $5099 may also be a 2000. Anyway, in addition to $4999 for a 2000, this dealer wanted $$$ for "freight and setup"..(a crock if you ask me)...I shopped around instead, and ended up with a 2001 black DS for $5500 + tax (NO freight, NO setup)....total just under $6000 O.T.D.

If that LA dealer is in Marina Del Rey, it's the same one that I almost bought one from. There seem to be alot of great prises in SoCal right now. In fact, I had to run into LA to pick up an XR50 for my youngest while I was on vacation at Hungry Valley because the price was too good to pass up. I ended up going with a dealer local to me for the DS and probably paid a little bit more, but saved myself another trip through LA, which is worth about $1,000,000 to me! Under 6k o.t.d. is a great price. Another place they get you is on the financing. Some guys are paying 16% or more. That's insane! Bombardier is offering 6.9% right now and I'd insist on getting that if I were financing any or all of the bike.

Hey guys~
Bombardier must really want to push their 2001 machines out because I got one heck of a deal on my 2001 DS that I pick up Tuesday! I'm only paying 5500 out the door for a brand new machine! Also, there is some fine print involved with that 6.9% financing. You can either get the $1000 rebate from Bombardier OR the 6.9% financing. They are looking for a perfect 4 year credit history if you finance through Bombardier. It still seems now is the time to buy if you are in the market for a new Bombardier!
