Is the DS650 discontinued? Bombardier hasn't announced the 2002 model yet and it is September already. Or are they holding out until the last minute, trying to get the 2000 and 2001 DS650's off the showroom floors before we hear about the new improved DS650?

If it is discontinued or changed dramatically, our lack of aftermarket parts is going to get real bad.

 

The 2002 DS650 is the exact same. However, they are going to offer a very limited edition baja model of the 650 that is different.

 

boy don't I wish the DS650 was discontinued! resale on these bikes is dropping huge! and I want a new one. In the recent catalog that Bombardier sent out there is a picture (partial) of the 2002 model, looks like red plastic on this baby, could be very sweet looking.

I just got threw reading on a Bombardier news release,that the 2002 line up will have three new minies,encluding a 50,and two new 90's.The new Baja DS 650 has orange and black plastic with hand guards,full skid plates,new exhaust guard ,tachomenter,new seat design.I would love to see a picture of this thing, but they don't have one up yet.I wonder how much too?

 

Maybe they will have 3 or 4 versions of the DS like they do with the Traxter

 

DsJockey may be on to something. However I seriously doubt that they will discontinue the DS. They will update their line-up after the dealer convention like everyone else.
