I talked to Elka this morning they have a long travel shock perfect for the DS, they supply it with two sets of springs so you can set it up for MX or dunes. It has sag control, lowers the Front and is a zero preload setup. For only $1,100...........................ouch.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-shocked.gif[/img]

 

elka should have the ds figured out now, they have had ryans shocks back to their shop 3 times now, i give them 2 laps this time and they will be oozing all over the quad. maybe i'm wrong and they'll hold, i like the way they look on the ds but he's about ready to get his 1100 back.

 

CT Racing just wrote me back. They ONLY build new shocks for the DS, $850. I'm assuming they have the new 5/8" rod....That's the Sag Control System, Total Control Suspension....These guys have too many initials...CT, SCS, TCS..Still, this might be the best shock for the DS, and $250 less than Elkas.....
