Are A-arms interchangeable between Baja and Original DS??

I hate to tell you this, but due to simple geometry, the plane on which the wheel moves through offset changes is not the same as the plane the arm length effects travel. You could put a 4' wheel with full possative offset, and the travel would be the same as stock, but if you use a 4' a-arm on the quad you will gain alot of travel. I'm not trying to be a smart ***, but your arguing a point that you happen to be mistaken about.

Knutz, you are correct sir! It is the distance from the A-arm pivot to the ball joints, which forms a parallelogram with the upper and lower a-arms, that determines the wheel travel, at least as far as this arguement is concerned, there are of course many other variables such as clearance and shock travel, attachment points and overall geometry. But Wheel travel is not affected by wheel offset in the case of double a-arms. Think of those A-arms forming that parallelogram going up and down, whether the wheel is sticking out or tucked in, it is still going up and down the same amount.
