I could not agree more with the coments on chroming suspension components. I feel strong enough about it that I will not chrome the swing arms that I'm having developed, and will suport American Star if they ever have a customer chromed set of arms break. On top of making the metal more brittle, the acid that is used in the proccess gets inside the parts and eats it away from the inside out, over time. If you plan to keep the parts for a while, I would stay away from chrome on these parts.
