RonWood tach?

My wife just ordered me a RonWood's tach for christmas!I was trying to save her $ by getting the Baja tach,but it's not going to happen,with them.HAPPY,HAPPY,JOY,JOY.Anyway,I want to mount it in my dash.Any tips on doing this out there? Thanks....................... clif..........

You need make some 1/2inch spacers to go under the lower 2 screws to raise the dash up so the tach can clear the headlight, or the tach will hit the headlight(ace hardware usally carrys plastic spacer material just cut to length))I used a hole saw to cut the hole then a rotary sanding wheel to fine tune the fit.Once the tach is in position,I just used black silicone to hold it in place(on the back side).
Note: the upper dash screw is in a slot so just slide the dash up and re-tighten

Thanks Jeffnrivercity!It's in and working great.Does your back light come when key is on?I thaught that they only come on when the lights are on.

I think it does come on with the key now that I think about it.
No biggy though.
