What are the gains different in these two carbs. Is this the Carb for $310.50 from Knutz? The 42mm flatside will outperform the stocker right? How much more? Will the difference be noticable with stock cams?

From what i understand, the 45mm on a stock motor will cost you a little bottom end for a minimal top end gain, and is more worth while on a motor with internal mods.
The 42mm flat slide should outperform the stock BSR in terms of throttle response, but I'm not sure about any power gains.

There are some guys around here that have the 42 flatslides, maybe they'll shed some more light...

Keep posting hurycne, eventually someone with a 42 flatslide will speak up. I know I've been hoping for a response.

only go with the 45mm if your going to go big bore, its just too big for a stock motor. go with the 42mm
