I am starting to get pi$$ed. I have had my bike at the dealer for a month this Sat. All they told me was wrong was a oil pressure sensor. They said they had to order one, but they still dont have it in, or my bike fixed. I am going crazy. I cant get anything out of them, except that the part is on the way. What is taking so long? Is this hard to replace or what? Sorry, just had to vent.

 

Sorry to hear of your misfortune. I on the other hand have always had good service from my dealer, I always get what I order within a few days. It shouldn't take any time to replace - they should have it ready the day it arrives. Since my dealer always gets stuff within 2 to 3 days when he orders it, You gotta wonder if your dealer isn't jerking you around. Contact another dealer, see what they say about availability of the part - if they tell you they can have it in a few days then your current dealer isn't doing their job right...

 

I ordered one and had it in 3 days installed it myself.It was about $10
There defintly giving the run around.

 

Hey 02baja vent it sounds like you have a good reason.but i think its a dealer problem not manufature.

 

i just got my new oil prssure sensor weds. from my dealer, i ordered it last thurs. so it only took 4 working days. so they are definitly giving you the run around, and it only takes 10 mins max to install.
