oil light will not go out!

No damage to plastic gear drives to either pressure pump or return pump and no sheared pins! In fact I found nothing wrong anywhere, no blocked passages, nothing. But I do have oil now
IS it possible that 10,000+ rpms caused the pumps to spin so fast that they just cavitated and lost pressure???? I was getting my exhaust gases analized at the time and had no load on the motor
anyhow I'll be riding this weekend!

for about 5-8 secs each time I tried( total maybe 4 times) it's been something weird. I cleaned out the filter in the upper reservoir about a month or so ago but as a precaution I'll drain the oil I put in last night and tear it out again and double check.
thanks for all help offered from everybody- it's nice to have a network like this.
Bat- it'll be a day trip for me, I prefer my own bed at home to the back of my truck I'll have a red strip of tape on my whip flag and I'll be looking to run into you guys.
