My neutral light started working intermittenly and so I decided to take it out and see if it was just a loose connection.

Well, it was not, apparently one of the connections inside was broken. Anyway, I was wondering if anyone has replaced their light and if so did they use the bombardier one, or get one somplace else.

I dont have a local dealer, so if I can find one locally at an auto parts house or something that would be great.

One other question, do you have to replace the whole thing, it looks like you do.

Any help would be great.

Bat - yeah, you gotta replace the whole thing, its an enclosed unit. I don't know where to get them though, never had to look. Any light would work (12V), but I'm sure you want it to match the red one...

Hightower, I thought so.

I have been carrying that thing in my pocket for two days now and have not had a chance to hit the auto parts stores.

I hate when life gets in the way. I would prefer it match, and look pretty much like the factory one. I will be checking out some auto parts stores in the next day or so........at least I hope.........or I may just put it back together and forget about it.

Thanks for the info

Just in case anyone else has this problem in the future, I found one that is pretty much identical to the stocker. It was at checker and I kept the card with the company name and part number for future reference.

The only diff I see is that there is a little black plastic ring around the top of this one and the little tabs that hold it in are different. But it works. If the little tabs wont hold it in place due to vibration, I may put a little bit of electrical tape on the back side to help it out.

Just sitting there it fits perfect and stays in place, but riding it might pop out of the hole.

Just thought I would update you .

Hey jeff, hows it going. I havent talked with you in awhile.

I know it was not a big deal, but I am kind of a perfectionist alittle and I hate when something doesnt work.

Anyway, I rode it down the street a little tonight before packing it up and the light worked like a charm.

Jeff, are you heading anywhere for the weekend?
