I have heard (Bom - bar - dee - a) and ( Bom - ba - deer)? Are there more? What does the company prefer?

Actually, I heard the guy on T.V say "bomb-beer-day". I don't know, it's confusing!

I think maybe he was thinking about something else.....but I do like the beer day part. Maybe bomb beer day could be the new name for ds days.

i am from canada and i know for a fact that it is pronounced, BOM-BAR-DEE-AY. it is named after the french-canadian who started the company, joseph armand bombardier. (the maker of ski-doo snowmobiles.)

 

On the Yamaha forum we pronounce it Sand pig!!! J/K !! LMFAO!! An O'l boy walks up to me and says: "HEY!, what kinda four-wheeler is that?" and I reply,"Its a Bomb-bard-dee-ay DS650". Then I can literally see the GLAZE come over his eyes,and then he asks "Is that like a Honda?" I say NO it is a company in Canada.

Then his Buddy walks up and asks"HEY!, what kinda four-wheeler is that?" and I reply " Its a BOMB-BA-DEER, (to see if i can get a better reaction). And he says "OH!, is that like a Honda?" Then I simply say YES, its like a Honda.[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

P.S. I have figured out that if a guy asks "what kinda four-wheeler is that"? I don't spend the time explaining, But if they ask " what kind of QUAD is that?" Then I will proudly tell them.
