Until I figure that out I have a 10 hr old 02 DS650 Black w/jets and filter still in box and woods CDI in the mail. oh ya a twist throttle sitting on the front door step from ups, it came from ABBA hope it a good one??? Kawi 300 for wife 2-ex250's 02 for 12 and 13 year olds DS90 for 10 year old and Mini Rex 50 for 6 year old and the 20 foot enclosed Carsen trailer to haul around. Is there a spell checker I'm missing??? While I'm here maybe some one has fixed a squeeking noise coming from the front wheels at slow speeds on the DS650??? This is a great foarm have been reading for a week now and learned so much and by my list yo can tell Ill be around for a while. Welcome to the forum, I have the RWR CDI and I really havent heard of anyone having a CDI problem. I have never heard of an engine being blown from no limiter either. As for the squeeky wheel, good question, I have the same problem. I am hoping here in the next few days I can tear into mine and see whats up. That would really **** me off if I had to replace a front hub instead of getting NOS.

Ohh and you might want to start putting in overtime now. Once you hang out with these guys for awhile the pocket book will begin to empty unless you have excellent self control.

The recurring squeek I have is from where my rear shock attaches to the frame. Some of those squeeks sound like they are coming from one place when they are coming from another.

Make sure you lube your zirk fittings then check for squeeks again.

I also have a RWR CDI box, no problems for 2 years. The only blown engines I have seen or read about were caused by the loose nut behind the throttle.

The squeek is more then likely from the disc brake. Mine squeeks from time to time no big deal, nothing you can or should do about it.

You may want to check the bearings just to be sure its not comming from there and make sure the disc pads still have lining on them
(there, thats my disclaimer)
