DemonDS

I know I should remove the air box I'm just afraid if I remove the box it well let more dirt into the motor.

I'm still working on my web site. When it's done I will post some pictures

The heel guards are prototypes from AC racing. They will be available soon.

Ask yourself honestly, how much do you get into water situations? Not very much I bet. Just crossing a little stream or some thing like that, you dont have to worry. As for dirt, really there is no worry. put on a new outerwears once a year and keep the filter clean and oiled, and you will be just fine. The K&N filters a million cars without the outerwear and never has a problem. The gains are huge from the filter and I would want a motor that could breath as well as possible with the nos going on it. you choke it and the NOS runs out, it could benefit from the extra flow. Even though NOS is ultimatly adding O2, I know that sounds silly but trust me. That way your mounting problems will be over as well. Just saying my opinion, but look at it this way, Jeff has them on the 760 and could you imagine the money in that thing? He trusts it.

I Just got off the phone with NOS Tech support. They said the bottle mounting configuration I'm using is ok.

I think I will try it for a while and see how the it work.
I have a Temp gauge so I will be able to monitor the temp just in case the bottle hinders the flow of air to the radiator.

I'm going to think about what you said DemonDS and I might remove the air box and mount the bottle under the seat.

Thanks for the info.

Did any of you guys that installed NOS on your DS650 adjust the timing? Nos Tech support told me to retard it 2 deg. Eliot at Ron Woods Racing said to run it the way it is. What should I do?
