Front sand tire ?
#1
I was out riding at our local dunes (killpecker dunes) and boy the sand was soft.
I run 20x10x10 8 paddle haulers on the rear and have been running the knobbies on the front. Well with this really soft sand the front tires would feel like they had cement in the wheels or something. They would just sink in so easily. Even cruising along through the dunes in 3rd, sometimes they would all of a sudden start to sink.
Anyway, my question is has anyone run smooth buffs for front sand tires? I have razorback style fronts for the raptor and really dont care for them. So, I am looking at alternatives. I think maybe the smooth buff will give me what I want, but not sure.
If you have any experience with these tires let me know.
Thanks
Bat

Bat, yes me and my father both run smooth buffs up front. We run itp magnum 23's 8 paddle hauhlers in the rear and smooth buffs in the front, they really help the front end float and make it very controllable. Hope this helps.
