wshrdskin,

I've had the same experience with Chaparral. They suck. I try to spend my money any place else if I can help it. Glad you got some good tires. Are those for next season in Glamis or are you planning a trip somewhere else?

Sandjunkie,

Me and mine are just days away from Little Sahara Utah for a day or two and then off to St Anthonys idaho for another day or three. The length of stay at little Sahara will depend on the tempreture. St Anthonys will depend on the length of stay at LS. No less than 1 day each and probably no more than 2 days at LS and 3 days at St Anthonys. Then were off to Montana for some fly fishing and some Monatna mountain trail riding. If time permits we will stop at St Anthonys for a day or 2 on the way home. 6:00am Saturday morning is our departure time and arrival at LS will be around 4:00pm or so Saturday afternoon. Can't wait. These tires will be used at Pismo the rest of the summer and hopefuly make it through a season of Glamis and at least 1 trip to Dumont dunes as well. Never had Skat Trak tires so I don't know how well they will hold up. The stop at Little Sahara will actualy be only my 4th dune experience. Once at Glamis for a day and 2 trips to Pismo. Can't wait until Saturday morning.

WoW man, that sounds like the ultimate summer trip. I have a hard time riding in the summer because my boys have red stickers. We were thinking about LS in Utah, but it looks like it still gets pretty warm there in the summer. Let us know how your trip turns out and take that camera Be Safe.

angrybajaboy,

I expect to be at St Anthonys by the afternoon of July 1st. Thats this Monday. The BLM campground will be our target. If we can't camp there we'll just have to wander around till we find a place to camp. If the resort has any vacancys we'll stay there after the BLM is ruled out. I doubt the resort has anything available by now. Also, whats the rules as far as real fireworks goes at ST Anthonys? The kind that go up in the air and make big colorful *****. Not the safe and sane type were accustomed to in California. TIA

Sandjunkie,

The camera and video camera is packed and ready to go. Safe and sane is my motto.

Hey skin,

I couldn't tell you anything about the fireworks, but you shouldn't have any problem finding a place over at Egin Lake campground or what you guy's so fondly call the BLM campground. The big weekend rush won't start until the afternoon of the 3rd, so you should be there in time to get a decent spot. I am supposed to go up there this weekend but I am waiting on everyone else to decide where they are going. Perhaps we will see you up there. Take care, be careful and have fun!
