I know this has been discussed before, but I was wondering if this will work or another combo that will. Well I am going to be going with Tag T2's or Renthal Fat bars soon and I need to knwo how to mount them. Will a plain universal mounting kit that raises the bars work or is there another way to do it. Also are there any companies that make bar clamps specifically for the DS?

I just posted the same question and it seems the only way to mount those bars is to get a steering stem. They don't make a bar mount set tall enough to get the bars up in the stock position. Diamond G and Timmyboy have them, Duncan Racing Roll Design is coming out with one very some. The roll Design one looks very nice, I think it will be the one I get in the extended version.

Tag 2 with a med bend and standard mount kit will clearjust fine and this combo will even work with the desert tank.no hitting either.

azsand. What kind of bar mount kit are you talking about. I have tried to find one that will fit the DS and have had no luck.
