When you turn the key to the 650's are you supposed to wait for the red light to turn off or just go ahead and start it?

You can start it up, but if it doesn't go out right away turn it off.

alright thanks because on my friends rancher it has the same thing and he waits for it to turn off so he was telling me I was supposed to let it turn off on its own but I tried it and it never turns off.

The oil pressure & temp senders control that light...as soon as the motor is cranked the oil pressure comes up and the light goes out!
