i was wondering if anyone has ran there DS on at a drag strip?

I raced a Hyubusa.............Off the line we where pretty even for almost 100' then he would blow my doors off.

No I didnt get to race the car this weekend I had to go to the river and spank an alky banshee...hehe It was a blast.

 

i got to run this weekend. me and bobby(vilrnk) got to race each other a couple of times. he won frist place he beat me out in the frist round. i had a red light or i could have got him that round. we both had alot of fun. maybe we all can meet someday and have a big asphalt race

 

My DS before the stage 2 with a stage 1 kit ran a 8.79 at 76mph with a 155 pound rider... With my 305 pound a** on it I was only able to pull out mid 9s as a personal best....

 

i guess mine is doing pretty good running 7.9's and 8.0's

 

What kind of mods have you made to your DS? 7.90s is some good times.

 

it has a stage 2 kit with twin fcr's on alky. i think i can get it into the 7.6's when i don't have to let out of a wheelie. i got a 1.51 60' time on a pass and missed a gear. i think that would have done it. i'm getting 1.7's 60' on the 7.9's passes

 

What is your best MPH in the eighth DSMike? Running in the 7.90 range with 1.7 60ft I would guess your MPH to be in the mid 80's maybe a little more. What rpm do you go thru the traps? What tires do you run on asphalt? Sorry about all the questions, I plan on running mine in the next couple of weeks and need to know.

 

i use 20" hoosier tires and run a 17 front and stock rear. the best i have got in the 1/8 is 83mph.
