Yes it is the standard automotive H4 bulb, i work at an auto parts store, Carquest in Paris texas and the wattages are the same. I had to replace mine today, last night at the races i noticed only my 2 baja lights worked, i noticed while at rocky ridge drag racing ever once in a while my hand would catch the light switch and the strip had a lot of whoops that just beat ur bike to death, not to mention the rider, and while it was switched on it blew the filament. So yes the standard H4 will work.

H4, also known as 9003 series.
You don't have to stick with the same wattage - I run a 100/55W - super bright, with the standard 55W dim so I don't blind the campers. Blue Xenon makes it look really sweet to oncomers. You can also get gold. JC Whitney, Dennis Kirk, etc.
Tailights are 1157 trailer bulbs - get an LED replacement, 'cause its hard to keep a filiment in a standard bulb with the all the rough riding. Auto Zone carried them. You'll never replace it again if you go LED.

Autozone, and other auto parts stores, sell LED replacements that fit right into 1157 trailer bulb sockets. They are around $7.00 each. They are a bulb base with several light-emitting diodes aranged in a cluster on the end, instead of a filiment in glass. There is nothing to burn out - most are guaranteed for 10 years. I put them in my trailer too, and more and more cars are coming out from the factory with them these days.
