Hell no! The SSheee has an arm pulling power band because it's a 2 stroker and the DS is a 4 stroke. A stock Shee dosn't really perform (arm ripping)until you do some aftermarket pipe, jetting, filter ect. This is just my opinion, but stock for stock the DS will pull hard from takeoff to red line while the shee has to wait for the power band and then try to keep it there.

Although the powerbands of these two machines are completely different, they are comparable in terms of how they perform in a drag race. The DS650 pulls from bottom to top, and it just keeps on pulling the faster you go...that is until you hit the rev limiter. The Banshee is weak on the bottom, but once you hit the mid range, you best be holdin' on tight, 'cause it's rocket time!
I am the proud owner of a DS650 Baja and a Banshee. I only ride them in the sand, which is right where both of them are most comfortable. Their engines are stock, and they're both terrific machines. Where the DS650 shines over the Banshee is when it comes to suspension, comfort, ergonomics, and reliability. I hope this helps!
