Me and my dad decided that we might just have to take a trip to these dunes that everyone is talking about. Who all is going, and at what time? I'd like to leave on Friday, so anyone leaving on Friday, post, and we can follow each other, since we don't know the way.

Only one problem. We have a LOT to get ready. The Ds650 has a Busted front shock, and we have to go pick up the Raptor. Neither quads have paddle tires, and I still need a pipe/jets for the Raptor, so somebody HELP ME OUT!!! I wanna go to the dunes!

I'll keep you updated if I'm definately going, or not.

Go west young man for long way on (I-20) take exit 113 to highway 302 to Kermit. Get a map or use mapquest and plan the quickest route from where you live.It's about 7 hrs for us. Don't know exactly when we will leave. Sometime late friday night I hope.

 

Buttfungus- 7 hours?? What you ride the DS's out there. 355 miles from my house 4.5 hours if we stop to pee and 4 1/4 if we pee out the window. 4 hours if i feel lucky.....

 

yeah I know my ds causes alot of wind resistance on the ole' trailer! ,Mapquest-Total Distance: 421.95 miles Total Estimated Time: 7 hours, 28 minutes ...Pee out the window? great idea! Got boost?

 

How many people are coming with you steve? I spent the week end at Rods. I had a hard time sleeping with all the Hondas and Suzuki's he has. I counted a even 12 quads in the garage. Some were missing. LOL
