i found a 3 1/2" tach here, it says it'll work on a 2 cylinder motor, i was wondering if i could just run a wire to each coil to make it seem like a cylinder, would this work? this also has a light that gets brighter wen its time to shift, i'm not sure on the price, they also have 2" mechanical water temp or oil pressure so you could probably mount this tach and the 2" gauge where the red light is, wat do you think?

I'm sorry I can't answer your question. I attempted to order the High-lifter tach. It was a universal that worked on four strokes, however after two months of nothing I finally called them to see what was going on. Turns out it was on back order and they didn't tell me. Besides after riding the bike I got used to the sound and decided I'd rather spend the money on a carb. It was 150 bucks if you are interested.

well i looked at the highlifter tach but i want somethin that is 3 1/2" to 3 3/4", i know rwr sells them but they r $225 i think, and the only autometer tachs are 4,6,8 cylinder models that i can find, maybe i'm not lookin hard enough, and i know how to hook it up already, my dad is an electrician so i'm not worried about that
