I am going to turn my Tonka Truck into a Black Max.

Does anyone know which years certain plastics are black. I know that some years the nose is red/orange and others it is black.

I asked the parts guy at the dealership and he said that it did not show on the parts number as to what color it was.

thanks

When I did mine all black, I used 2002 baja tank cover and nose, then 2001 ds650 rear fender and front fenders. You can see a picture of it on buttfungus's ds jetting/mods page under JMAC650.

In 2001 there was a red do and a black one.
If You want to u can order them off the internet.

doostore.com email them asking for the black ds plastics... I know they have them.
