I just put in my TM45 last night. I started it up and it sounded like it was idleing high. I shut it off and now it won't start at all. Has this ever happened to anyone if so can someone help me before I wind up dropping it off at the shop. Thanx

I hope this helps.... make sure the air/fuel screw (left side by fuel line) is turned out 2-3 turns. Check the idle ****. It's easy to check if the trottle cable is disconnected and you can look down the carb throat. The slide should have between 1/16 and 3/32 gap at the bottom. It should start and the you can play with the idle and the fuel/air screw and jetting. Check out this web site: http://www.mikuni.com/ It gives some excelent tuning tips.

Is this th RWR carb?

Yeah it was the RWR carb. I took a look at the air screw and it was about 6 turns out and the idle was all the way out I adjusted those and it started right up. Thanx for the advice.
