Ds front fenders take care of the sand throwing, and even when I remove them, the width has the sand out to the sides so far it misses me most of the time! I get a little on the boots taking fast turns though.

Thanks everybody. I didn't get a DS rider to chime in that has tried the solid rib with Skate II's on a DS, little too specific to expect I know, but what I did get is confirmation that mohawks work great with vees, so that's what I'll be getting.

Oh, Ernie - in case you're wondering - I'm sick of my haulers. I miss the fun of vees, I can't hook a tight donut to save my life on the side of a sand wall, and with the vees its much more fun for 99% of all the riding we do. I'll still keep the haulers, for dragging and for those huge hills out west, but for here and Oklahoma, the vees are too much fun to miss out on!!!!!!!!!!

hightower i have the tires you want to know about on the blaster and the razors work great, but the ds guy that i've talked to on the oregon coast, have said they won't take a hard landing. but handling is great, the hill climbs do suffer with the v paddles.
