i am currently tryin to create a program to calculate gearing similar to marky narks but being able to use other models (raptor,z400,400ex), but i'm not sure how to calculate the gearing and speed, how is this done?

I think there is someone out there who has that already but I don't remember who. I am sure someone in this forum knows though.

you just need the final drive gear ratio's for each gear of the tranny. then you can modify the html code to calculate for that bike.

well i was going to use a program called TURING to make it, so when you run the program a screen comes up and asks you what quad u have, then # of teeth on front sproket and # of teeth on back, then all the gears wit ratios and top speed in mph and kph

On my brothers .Saint Anthony And Little Sahara site
I used the same format as the one on Markynarks site only added the various quads to it. I also wrote it in vbscript. You can check the sorce code and get the info you need. I also wrote another one in Visual Basic that is a stand alone program. If you want that one along with the sorce code I can send that to you as well. Just let me know

If you can get me the primary gerar ratio, 1st, second, third....ratios ect. I can and will add the cannondale speed to the calculator. If you send me a pic of your cannondale, i'll add it as the pic. Or i can get a generic one if you prefer.

I was able to get all the info i needed off the cannondale site. So we now have the gearing calculater set up for all the 02 cannondales. Check it out
