i've seen guys running the uni foam so you don't have to mod your seat, but mine keeps popping off in the garage, so who know what kind of extra air i would get out in the sand, or sand .

does the uni keep the sand out good or k&n? what i have been thinking about doing is taking it to a muffler shop or something the have them make a chrome tube like the stock one so the airfilter would set back more for the clearance. any opinions on that?

Sounds like a good idea if it all works out, you could probably sell that sort of thing.

I reccomend the Clamp-On UNI air filter....It traps more dirt and gives great flow.My UNI has never popped off the carburetor.
